Overview

Raad is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking.

Location Data

Raad uses your device's GPS to measure your current driving speed. This happens entirely on your device. Your location and speed are never stored, logged, or sent to us or to any server we operate.

Map Background

The optional live map background is provided by Apple Maps on iOS and Google Maps on Android. When the map is enabled, your device requests map tiles for your area from those providers, which means they receive your approximate location. This is governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies. If you keep the map off, no map data is requested.

Data Collection

Raad does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, or crash reports. Apart from the optional map background, the app works entirely offline.

Settings

Your preferences, such as speed limits, alert sound, and map style, are stored locally on your device and never leave it.

Children's Privacy

Raad does not collect any data from any users, including children under 13.
